About
Born and bred in Cape Town, South Africa, Bruce found his niche in composing, arranging and producing for various high-end orchestral projects. He has since gone on to compose music for documentaries for Discovery Channel and National Geographic, and has composed the score for ADVENTURES IN ZAMBEZIA, a 3D animated movie produced locally by Triggerfish. The score was recorded with the Hollywood Symphony Orchestra in LA during October 2011, and the film was distributed in more than 40 territories world-wide. For the Zambezia soundtrack Bruce received an Annie Award Nomination for best score in an Animated feature, as well as a SAFTA (South African Film and Television Award) Nomination. His score was also nominated for South Africa's prestigious Wawela Music Award. He then went on to work on his second feature film, “KHUMBA”, also produced by Triggerfish. For the Khumba soundtrack Bruce won the 2014 SAFTA award for best soundtrack composition in a feature film. He is currently working on a live-action film set in India and starring Steven Baldwin.
